In Geneva,
Kuehne+Nagel, the Swiss logistics giant, announced the signing of an agreement
to acquire Tdn, a Spanish company specializing in transportation and
distribution. “This
strategic move significantly strengthens our European shipping network,
expanding capacity and coverage in the Iberian market.”
Although the
financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed, the acquisition
is expected to be completed in the coming weeks, subject to the usual closing
conditions, including approval from antitrust authorities.
“With this acquisition, Tdn
will be fully integrated into
Kuehne+Nagel to leverage the strengths of both
companies, optimize operations, and deliver greater value to customers,” reads a statement
from the Spanish company.
